Nature presents herself and I present myself, somewhere in the middle we make magic. It’s an awesome friendship. The more time I spend honing my craft, the better I become at articulating the wonder I’m experiencing

About

Nic De Jesus charcoal drawings

After honing his craft as a Staff Photographer and Art Director for an independent action sports magazine in his hometown of Cape Town, Nic emigrated to London in 2007. He spent the next few years focussed on photography while nourishing his skills as a draughtsman.

Nic's work is concerned with the sea and land and one's relationship to them. He is currently at work on his collections, Mare Incognitum, Terra Incognitum & A Light In The Valley while teaching the fundamentals of landscape drawing in charcoal and graphite.

His work is in private collections around the world.
